A Longing
--
To say I shan't find you would be to utter a curse indeed, however I cannot help in my heart but lean this direction. I have seen you in whispers, fleeting dreams and far away stories of many many times past.
So rare that few can hold a candle to your magnificence. Your grace and your manners. Maybe in life times ago we had met. We had waltzed and shared words as the sun rose along the distant horizon.
But was there ever a vow that once the mortal coil was shed that we would find one another again? Or perhaps I have yet to meet you although I feel this to be untrue.
A memory not from this incarnation, a longing and confusion, how long shall I wait? Forever I suppose but if you’ve not come before I rise once again I wonder if I should ever met you beyond.
Dear men, you know not how high the bar resides. For I have only met but one that has shed light and reminded me of what it is I truly hold dear and all that it is, I deserve.
